Selim C. Hotinli, cosmologist
Hello, I am Selim. I am currently the P. J. E. Peebles Fellow at Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics.
I am interested in understanding the origin, contents, and evolution of the Universe. I work to identify clear observational signatures of fundamental physics and astrophysical processes, developing techniques that draw maximal insight from modern cosmological data. My research is united by two themes: the elegant simplicity of the early Universe and the intricate complexity of the astrophysical processes that shape cosmic structure.
Previously I was the Horizon Postdoctoral Fellow at Johns Hopkins University, and before that, I was a PhD student at Imperial College London where I was a president’s scholar.
You can find the list of my publications at my inspire.
